We’re passionate about helping you find clarity.
Meet Lanaya
I’m Lanaya, founder of Limen Mediation & Transitions. I mediate through a court-connected small-claims program and have specialized training in elder and adult family mediation. Before opening Limen, I spent more than a decade working in high-conflict environments, so I am comfortable with tension, strong personalities, and family group texts that should never have been opened before coffee.
My role is not to take sides, diagnose your family, or pressure an aging parent into a predetermined outcome. I help people name what matters, test what is realistic, protect dignity and boundaries, and turn a difficult conversation into a workable plan.
You do not need a perfect family relationship to make one important decision together. I’m thrilled to be helping families move through difficult conflict, focused on the future, with their dignity and relationships intact.
We can help.
Find clarity and establish boundaries.
Sometimes we’re too close to the issue to see the next step clearly. Learn how to identify what you can realistically give, communicate your values with steadiness, and set boundaries so you don’t get steamrolled, overcommit, or agree to a role you can’t sustain.
Feel seen, respected, and understood
Conflict often escalates when people feel unheard or misunderstood. Experience a guided conversation where each person has room to speak, listen, and understand what matters underneath the disagreement, without relying on forced turn-taking or family members trying to manage the room themselves.
Make decisions with confidence
We want to help you and your family move forward without having the same fight over and over. Experience family decision-making that results in dignity, clarity, and actionable next steps.
